I’m able to spread my love of singing, dancing & performing! 💃
Hey, I’m Kerry! 👋
I am the Academy Assistant for Sound Pop Academy in Winchester, and I LOVE it.
Performing has been a lifelong passion of mine. I started dancing at the age of 4 attending weekly ballet, modern and tap classes at a dance school. After my first performance in front of an audience I fell in love with the stage and continued to attend many summer schools where I dabbled in other performing arts genres like singing, drama and musical theatre.
Because of this, growing up, I decided I wanted to continue my training as a dancer. In addition, I went on to complete a Diploma in Dance, HNC in Dance and more recently completed a BA (Hons) Dance degree. As a result, my training has allowed me to perform in a number of shows and increase my love for the stage but most importantly, it’s given me the opportunity to become a qualified dance teacher!
I’ve had the opportunity to teach a variety of ages and abilities all the way from young kids to those who suffer with Parkinson’s. I have seen, first hand, the impact participating in performing arts activities can have on people. Teaching at Sound Pop Academy means that I am able to spread my love of singing, dancing and performing. Additionally, I get to have tonnes of fun too!
