Jayne Glynn - Academy Leader
Jayne has been part of the Sound Pop Academy team since the very beginning and is passionate about providing exciting sessions that develop social skills, confidence and emotional resilience along with the development of vocal and performance skills.
Jayne has always had a passion for working with young people. After graduating from Winchester University in 2007 as a qualified teacher, Jayne has gained lots of experience supporting young people with their educational, emotional and social development. Throughout her experience as a teacher, Jayne has led school choirs and singing assemblies in different schools.
Alongside her role as a teacher, Jayne also works for SingForce providing workplace choir sessions for a variety of businesses. Jayne is also a session vocalist. She records guide backing tracks for choir leaders to use during the teaching process for many different choirs, including Sound Pop Academy.
Jayne also sings for pleasure in her own time. Since joining Love Soul Choir in 2014, Jayne has performed at many different events. These performances include a Westquay flashmob, ‘One Sound’ at Mayflower Theatre and performing onstage with Take That at St Mary’s stadium in May 2019.

Zoe Trivett - Academy Assistant
Zoe’s passion for singing started when she was 11 years old when she started singing at regional and national talent competitions. From there she developed a love for performing and went on to study music at the University of Southampton for both her BA undergraduate degree and her Masters in Music performance. Her education has allowed her to gain over 12 years of experience on stage, performing in Legally Blonde at university, forming and curating her own band, singing and dancing as a part of an Aretha Franklin tribute band and getting the opportunity to sing at a festival in Slovenia. Post university, Zoe worked as a Music Administrator at a private school, organising music lessons and performances, as well as helping coach students for assembly performances. She had four junior choir groups she taught, in addition to a musical theatre group that she worked with weekly. Zoe also helped students with their song writing skills and worked with them on their own independent projects, creating, mixing and giving feedback on original material.
Amazing relationships
I couldn't wish for more amazing leaders and assistants to run the sessions. They have all built up real positive relationships with all the children and their families.A Sound Pop Academy parent
A great outlet
As a parent of a child who does not stop singing it was great to find an outlet for her love of it. My daughter raved about how much fun she had and the new friends she made.Kelly, Southampton
