About our Performing arts classes in Romsey

Our Romsey academy opened in September 2022 and rehearses from within the heart of the community at The Mountbatten School. Our Romsey group has lots to offer throughout the year, all whilst members work towards their end of year theatre show! Our Romsey academy can be found just 5 minutes from Romsey town centre and North Baddesley. Come and try us!

Bethany Howard – Academy LEADER

Bethany’s love for the arts stemmed from a very young age when she joined in with Southampton’s Scouting and Guiding shows full of singing and dancing.

This experience fuelled a passion for performing which led to Bethany joining a youth theatre where she performed many musicals, such as ‘Les Misérables’ and ‘Evita’.

Throughout her education, Bethany’s love for drama and music grew and she started singing lessons which developed her skill and love for music.

Bethany has recently finished her last year at college, completing a course in musical theatre and hopes to continue her passion of performing in the future by going to a performing arts school to further her education in acting.

Anne boddin – Academy assistant
Anne has loved musical theatre from the moment she saw her first musical at age 7. This saw her join many theatre companies, where she performed in musicals, such as ‘The Prom’ and ‘Shrek’.
Anne’s passion for musical theatre was so great, that she made the move from Belgium to England to chase her dreams. At University of Chichester, she gained her bachelor’s degree in Musical Theatre.
Shortly after her graduation, Anne joined Ambassador Cruise Line where she performed main stage plays. Having returned from her time on board the cruise ships, she looks forward to continuing to use her passion for performing to inspire others.
