Terms & Conditions for Parties

Bookings & Enquiries 

  • Party booking enquiries can be made via our Parties website enquiry page.
  • Bookings are subject to availability.
  • Please note that a Party enquiry does not in any way confirm a party as booked. Sound Pop Academy will contact you via email or telephone to request additional information about the party in order to provide an accurate quote for your requirements. 


  • A non refundable deposit (25% of the total party cost) is required to secure your booking. Payments should be made by BACS and within 10 calendar days of the invoice date. Any payments made over and above the minimum deposit will be treated as deposit monies and are non refundable. 
  • Should a 25% deposit not be paid within the specified time, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and reallocate your slot.
  • Payment of deposit to book a party confirms acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  • Where full party payments (over and above the minimum numbers required for your party) are made at the time of booking, Sound Pop Academy will assume these numbers to be definite and no refund will be given for any overpayment due to lesser attendance of guests on the day.
  • Balance payments are due 6 weeks (42 calendar days) before the day of your party.
  • Late payments (defined as a payment received within 42 calendar days of the party date) will incur an admin fee of 12% of the remaining balance due.
  • Parties where the balance has not been paid in full within 2 weeks of the party date will be cancelled with no refund given.


  • In the event of your cancellation of a party (for any reason whatsoever) deposits will not be refunded. In certain circumstances a transfer of deposit to an alternative date may be considered but is at the absolute discretion of Sound Pop Academy and include a £25 admin fee. Rescheduled bookings must be completed within 2 months of the original party date. In the event of a rescheduled party, the party theme must remain the same and include all elements of the bookings that were originally quoted for.


  • Available party themes can be viewed on the Parties page on our website. 
  • Our themed parties run between 1 hour and 1 hour 15 minutes and include the attendance of one Sound Pop Academy Party leader.


  • There is no minimum or maximum number of participants for our themed parties, we’d love to party with all of your children’s guests! 
  • Our Superstar Recording Party can run with a maximum of 12 children.
  • A Sound Pop Academy Party Host will be dedicated to your child’ party, ensuring things run smoothly and to plan. 
  • Throughout the Party, parents/guardians will be responsible for the care and supervision of all guests, including children who are left by their parents whilst attending your child’s party. We recommend one adult for every six children.
  • For safety reasons, children should wear toe covered shoes/trainers. Flip flops, heels etc aren’t recommended. 

Party Extras

  • Sound Pop Academy will not supply any food or drink.
  • The length of a Sound Pop Academy party includes the host-led activity. If you wish for us to host the birthday cake cutting or any other aspect of the party, this will be taken out of the duration of the length of the party duration.


  • Please note that a the venue is not included as part of a party booking. We’d be happy to run our themed parties from a suitable space such as a village hall, your house or garden or other indoor space. We do ask that there is access to power. 
  • Sound Pop Academy should have access to the party venue or address at least 30 minutes prior to the start time of your child’s party to ensure the party can be set up.
